Sr. Adv Anand Mohan Mathur is not a person but an organization. Even if it is said that they are organization, it will still be correct. We are saying this because the work that he has done and is doing alone, that work is not a matter of any one person or organization.Today, even at the age of 95, his passion, passion and uniqueness is there, he is advocating as well as awakening social consciousness and going from court to road against injustice. Meeting him is inspiring for anyone. With his easy, simple and smart smile, he is able to win anyone’s heart. In his life also Mr. Mathur has struggled no less. Before independence, he had rebelled against the British in his teens, for which his family had to bear the brunt. When the time came, he also had to work as a replacement labor in the Malwa mill. He also did teaching work in college and due to his condition, instead of becoming a doctor he decided to become a lawyer.
He pursued his profession with utmost purity and rose to the top. He has been continuously using his knowledge and experience of law for the benefit of the victims and the oppressed. They are doing this work even today and not only in the court but when the time comes, they do not hesitate to come out on the road as well. His presence has been significant in the cultural and literary landscape of Indore. He has played a major role in the establishment of prestige and Progressive Lekh Sangh in Indore. He has also written plays and has also worked on theatre. He has also practiced music and has also led India as a legal expert on international forums. Apart from Hindi and English, Mr. Mathur also knows Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi and Urdu languages. When he is speaking Marathi then no one realizes that Marathi is not his mother tongue. Similar is the case when speaking Gujarati and Bengali languages. Be it music or languages, he always finds time for them, even today his routine starts at 5 in the morning, which goes on till late at night.
